I was watching alot of Disney today, if you couldn’t already tell. I kinda like it though, even though the whole mickey mouse idea has been used and tossed around by countless clothing lines lol.
My big brother’s birthday is tomorrow. He’s currently in San Fransisco and he likes to skateboard as much as he can, so I thought I would give him some artwork involving a stenciled silouhette of him Skateboarding.
Melting crayons by blow dryer is long, hard work. I’m not the most patient artist in the world, I can tell you that, so this was a real test for me lol.
but I like how it turned out.

This is my fashion forward alter ego named King Skyler, a trendy yet mischievous ruler who likes to make a huge impact.
I’m using her as the basic icon for a potential clothing co. I might do. Emphasis on MIGHT though, I have alot to think through, but it’s such a grand idea I can’t wait for it to come into reality. I think it’ll take about a year or so for this thing to get off the ground, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes.

Le Fabuleux Destine D’Amelie Poulain
Drawing one of my favorite movies, ever. I downloaded the entire album last night, and I just couldn’t stop listening to it. I was feeling so creative so I decided to give it a go and try to draw Amelie like she is on the cover, but with a little cartoonish twist (because I can’t draw realistically for shit). I must say I that I really love how its turning out.

I was in a To Write Love on Her Arms kind of mood.
So I painted a sort army style painting of two arms, one cut up and one healed, holding razorblades as the dog-tags.I keep looking down at my right arm while typing this. little brownish white lines, just sitting there, reminding me that i’ve been 6 months cut-free.
Self-Injury, Depression, Addiction, Suicidal thoughts, etc. it’s all a war to me, but the thing about wars is that every war has an end, and every war doesn’t have to be fought alone.
If you’re dealing with these issues at all, I urge you to get help. Talk to someone, someone close to you, hell maybe even someone here on Tumblr. I talked to someone close to me, and thanks to her, and that promise I made, i stand before you six months cut-free and going strong.
